The Medical Post has named Dr. Kwan one of the top 30 doctors in Canada, Chatelaine one of eight women in science to follow, and Burlington Post readers a Diamond Award winner.
Most of that came from turning public data into charts people could actually read. RADAR applies the same instinct to the remittance advice.
I'm a family doctor in an FHO+. One month I sat down with my own remittance advice and added it up by hand, and the numbers didn't match. So I built something that could tell me why.
The hours tracker is free and needs no account. Log your Q310 to Q313 time in a few taps, keep an eye on your indirect hours against the 25% cap, and copy the EMR stamp straight into the chart. The dashboard takes the RA the Ministry already sends you, helps explain how the total was calculated through the various bonuses and payments, and reconciles your logged hours against what was paid.
What I really wanted was the time back. Fewer evenings lost to paperwork, less time wondering whether you were paid properly, and more of the week left for your patients and for your own family.
I hope it helps you too. Give it a try on your next RA, and let me know what you think!
